Hey Larry, my God your back buddy. If i can get the time off work i'll be up for another Maverick Comet breakfast for sure. Well this is a follow-up to Larrys Breakfast meet in Milton. As a visitor to the truck stop over at least 100 times, I knew Sat/Sun were always busy with the local folks going for a cheap but great breakfast. As the Ontario Rep for the Maverick/Comet club, I cked with the manager at the 5th wheel about a reservation. It was suggest by her( Andrea) that a res be made. Soooooooooo its for April 7th, at 9:30 to 9:45 am. Its under my name. Pls confirm by April 5th at 8pm as to your attendance so that I can firm up the number of seats needed. Thanks Ron for getting the reservation as I know how busy you are. Maverick/ Comet interest are alive and well in Southern Ontario. We all have been waiting around for a function to happen with the other guy. But that club is dead in Ontario, keep up the good work Ron. Thanks Matt for keeping up Maverick Board . |

I just got an e-mail from Zac who did the filming for the 1st NRMCC Maverick Comet Mountain Cruise in 2010 with his lovely wife (they were filming from the Mustang) and he said that he will try to make it to our Mav / Com breakfast in Milton in April. He said he is at a work site but will try. You gotta love Zac, even though he sold his Comet a while back he still tries to come out to our events and not just sit around and do nothing. Zac........ you are a true Maverick Comet guy. Hope to see you at the breakfast or the next one. Cheers:thumbsup: |
