Yeah i know, i'm a bit slow but here are the pictures from our 7th Annual NRMCC Maverick Comet Meet and Greet and Mountain Cruise 2. The dash plaques, a copy of the famous (at least up here in Canada) Harvey's sticker from the past.   The start of the Mountain Cruise as we collect cars along the way.  Larry all ready to film the Mountain Cruise.   Larry and his custom wood work, ready to start the trip.  And off we go:   Our first stop to wait for Derek50Comet. It looks like there are Mavericks and Comets everywhere, on both sides of the street.  A quick stop for a little photo shoot and to check out the gorge.    Back on the road again and off to the host restaurant , M.T. Bellies.   By the way the food was great and so was the service, if anyone was wondering.:thumbsup: Now for the eats and some Mav - Com stories.     Our Meet and Greet, only 4 cars this year but still fun and rare as hens teeth up here in the great white North.      The boys checkin' out the cars, telling some lies and myself taking pictures of the event.        And as the tradition continues, we finish up the Meet and Greet with a smoke show. Brought to you by Derek50Comet.  Well done sir............. well done. Thanks to Larry for setting up the Meet and Greet and Mountain Cruise 2. A few of the guys Mavericks are race cars that are not road legal and a couple of them won't drive too far so they leave their cars at home. All in all it is a really great time and the Mountain Cruise was the best, small single lane dirt roads with a ton of trees. You guys down in the states do know how to do it right. The Gathering looks like fun and you get a fair amount of Mavericks and Comets from a rather large area, that impresses me. :thumbsup: |
