#1 comrick317 Gathering.......... put pictures here. (Please)  
I know it's not till next week but for the guys who could not make it to the Gathering (like me) can someone or everyone post their pictures here. Hey if your on your way, drop a couple of pictures off while in your hotel or of the Maverick or Comet out the hotel window. A nice shot of the car in front of a road sign. Your entering Tim-buck-too, take a picture.

I want to see who the first on to post is and the first on to post a picture at the Gathering. Come on tease us................. the sad little people (me) who wanted to go but could not make it.

I would love to go but my Comet would not make it that far (needs the valve seals replaced), can't really afford it this year, and i still don't have my passport. That in itself is a total nightmare to get here in Canada. Hell even the Roundup is much closer for me to go to but with no passport that's not going to happen either. I would love to go to one or both of these events but this year not in the cards.

LOL I love those comfy seats. I'm kicking myself for leaving the GoPro in the hotel room when we left for the train ride, because it would have made for a great video leaving the falls on the twisty road back to the highway.

Ok...looks like it worked...if you go to the above link and then click on either the mrmaxxlevell or additional videos...there should be another one or two clips that show up. The name was picked by youtube lol...not me. And disregard the blathering in the background lol...haven't gotten used to this new phone yet :rollinglaugh:

Oh this would have been worth the trip alone to see.

Did he get permission from Gapp and Roush to make this Maverick or just made it because he likes it? Either way it is so cool.

He just did it as far as I know. He calls it a tribute car.. It's really nice and he did the paint and decals in a week!

Well...it only ran a 7.20 right off the trailer...but 60 ft times were 2 TENTHS off lol. Everybody elses apparently were as well...it was the first time they had gotten to run in the last 3 weeks, and those lovely rains had completely cleaned the track lol. Car was still levelling out around mid-track though...and something just wasn't right. We opened the hood to look things over, and Jay said "how come you only run 5 lbs of fuel pressure?"...well...I don't lol. He watched the gauge while I turned the set screw on the regulator...and it took 7 full turns to raise the pressure 1 pound! Not good...ran one more time and brought it back and checked it again...it was down another pound from where we set it! Hmmm...adjusted it up again and let it run while watching it...and it dropped a pound again while we were watching. Loaded it up with the confirmation that the fuel pump was going bad.

Got online when we got back to the hotel and ordered a new aeromotive pump, which should be here tomorrow, according to the tracking number lol. All in all, it was a decent outing really...it kept me from chasing my tail here at home lol. It should be good to go for this weekend.

I should run really good with some fuel. Even with that 7.20's ain't to shabby. I'd be willing to bet the power loss from 5lbs of pressure is much more on an E85 car than regular fuel.
