I'm getting a rust free '69 Maverick from a friend. It's a project car from Oklahoma. Has a small block Ford V8 already in it. I'd like to make a resto mod out of it. I've been restoring BOSS 302 and 429 Mustangs for years, so this car is a new animal for me. I'm going to have a lot of questions. Wiring and where to buy parts if I need them. I just did a resto mod '69 Mustang with a 427 cammer engine using Rod and Customs coil over and rack and pinion steering. I was so impressed with that set up and how easy they made it, I'd like to do the same to this Maverick. Thinking of using a stroked 351 Windsor set up with 2 four barrels carbs. Any input from the experienced people here? BOSS302Reg@aol.com http://www.boss302.com |

As soon as get the car here I'll post plenty! I'm excited to get this car. I just sold a '69 351 Mach I that I restored so I'm itching to get started on this! I'm sure I'll need parts too. Thanks for the welcome. |
